It is 20 days until we unveil Animo to an audience of over 80 VIP guests at Gloucester Blackfriars!
We are obviously very excited that we are getting closer to the launch and extremely grateful to our guests who are travelling from as far as Greece, France and the U.S.A. to be part of our first official event. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that our launch will mean something special to them and us.

our idea to create a Festival for all musicians (without borders) and a range of merchandise (watch this space!).
'Animo one' is our first EP and we look forward to releasing it online after the launch.
Our aim is to record one album a year packed with the work we are doing as we build our repertoire and for the next year we will be recording an album of all our composers who are part of our 'new music project'. We've started with 'Animo one' which will be followed by ... yeah, you got it!
In the past year we've been ambitious in carving out a future for Animo and created a website with the imagination and creativity of Iteracy (our web designers) who have also created most of our promo materials. We've completed two recordings, worked through an intense residential practice (to be repeated next year only longer!) and started creating 'our sound' and followed our gut about the music we want to perform.
There is much to know about each other, our audiences, our music and our composers. It's always exciting at the start of a journey.
Next month we shall be entering our first competition as a chance to network and play some wonderful music. It is certainly a year of firsts.
