Straight after our first Livestream we were so excited to follow it with a regular rehearsal/livestreaming schedule and it was really disappointing to find out that we had to abandon all our plans for at least another 4 weeks... Luckily, all this changed on the 12th November and we are now free to use our Studio again! The news is already on the web and our Union, MU has the latest scoop. Rest assured that our Eden's Hill home Studio is totally Covid-safe with a separate entrance, stone floors, dedicated hand washing and bathroom facilities and fresh air flow throughout so we are absolutely safe and ready to sound out our music.
We are planning more Livestreams and Sarah will be posting links on Instagram before each Livestream. Details of all the pieces we are performing will be on the YouTube video description. Our first Livestream is still online and we hope to involve more of our colleagues as restrictions loosen-up again (please, please look after each other).
And... we have a new release coming out soon!
Our second commission composed by Lukas Piel titled 'The Journey of Alan Kurdi' will be on every online platform known to man in early December. Catch a glimpse of it here.
The subliminal photos of my previous blog will now make sense. The story of Alan Kurdi is more poignant now than ever before. We are all trying to find our way 'Home'.
