After 'going to work' we are now 'performing live' with the necessary restrictions. We will be performing from our rehearsal (open air) studio which has been our solace for the last few weeks as we started preparing for the recording of 'ANIMO two' which will include pieces written for us by our 2019-20 composers.
The performing arts took a hit with this pandemic but we have carried on making music, creating art, getting involved with helping others get through this difficult time.
Based on the government's advice and assessment we are currently on Stage Three.

We are both relishing the idea of performing again. We waited for just the right time to play face to face rather than online. Somehow the connection with the audience loses its potency online - although it has been wonderful to see so many artists share their music and find ways to network and create new music from different continents.

The archive of all those photos and videos will become the talk of conversations 10 years from now... I do hope that we learn from this time and we make the necessary changes in the way we live and treat one another, globally, so this never happens again.
For now, Animo are 'Stage three'!
